Do you have any questions about house sitting?

Do I need insurance as a house sitter?

We recommend you talk to your insurance company about your contents and house insurance policy.

Who pays the bills?

Typically the homeowner would take care of your costs, i.e. utilities. However, we recommend you agree on these details prior to your house sit starting.

Is it common to charge home owners?

It's optional to charge for your time, but keep in mind that free rent and utilities might be seen as a form of payment in the eyes of the homeowner.
